Theater Class to Stage "Strong Women"
Students in the Upper School Advanced Theater Class will stage “Strong Women,” an original theater piece created during 12 weeks of discussion, research, theater exercises and rehearsals in the class. The performance will be held on Thursday, January 14th at 7:30 p.m. in the Theater at Founders Hall.
Determined to create a unique performance experience for themselves and their audience, the class worked as an ensemble utilizing a wide variety of theatrical techniques, approaches and styles. All material contained in the performance was discovered or created by the members of the class and augmented with music, staging and multi-media elements to maximize its impact and to explore what it takes to be a strong woman.
The performance is free and all members of the community are encouraged to attend.
