McGuire '09 Named a Finalist in Morristown's Got Talent
Morristown-Beard graduate Natalie McGuire ’09 and her sister Kelly McGuire have been selected as finalists in the third annual Morristown’s Got Talent competition. More than 75 performers tried out, and only 16 people qualified for the finals.
Natalie and Kelly will be singing “Cry,” which was originally performed by Mandy Moore in the movie “A Walk to Remember.”
This is the second consecutive year that Natalie has been chosen for the finals. Last year, she was a soloist and performed “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion. Natalie is currently a freshman at Quinnipiac University, where she is majoring in Business.
The finals of the Morristown’s Got Talent show will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3rd at the Community Theatre in Morristown. The finalists were chosen by members of the Morris Educational Foundation, which organizes the contest as a fundraiser for the Morris School District. Ben Bailey of the Discovery Channel’s Cash Cab will be the emcee of the event.
