Middle School Team has All the Answers!
Congratulations to Morristown-Beard Middle School’s junior varsity squad which captured first place at the General Knowledge Consortium held at Newark Academy in February.
The MBS junior varsity team fielded questions on a broad range of subjects – everything from Latin word origins to cranberries! In the final round, Morristown-Beard emerged victorious with 105 points, followed by Delbarton with 90 points, Newark Academy with 85 points, and Kent Place with 85 points.
Morristown-Beard’s quad was composed of seventh graders William Laud (captain), James Kellogg, J.D. Parker, and Tyler Smith as well as sixth grader Max Sherer.
